YOUTH AND TEEN CAMPS AT NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY AUSTRALIA

OVERVIEW

New York Film Academy Australia offers an incredible opportunity to teens from around the world to travel to study filmmaking and acting under the Academy’s world-class faculty.

Teen film buffs and actors wanting to pursue their passions are provided with a creative and inspiring environment with a teaching philosophy of learning by doing.

Offered during the year, these programs offer students the opportunity to learn new skills, through our interactive, industry specific, short workshops.

YOUTH AND TEEN CAMPS AGE GUIDELINES

For our Youth and Teen Camps, you must meet the following criteria to attend:

• Ages 13-17 years
  • Must be at least 13 years old on the first day of the teen camp
  • Must be under the age of 18 on the first day of the teen camp
  • Cannot attend if you are in high school but under the age of 13 or have already turned 18 years old as of the first day of the teen camp
• You may or may not be in high school”

Gold Coast
The Gold Coast is renowned for its world-class restaurants and beachside cafes. Students can laze on pristine beaches, choose from six major theme parks, learn to surf, jet boat, get up close and personal with kangaroos and koalas, or swim with dolphins. Byron Bay is a short drive south from the Gold Coast location and the cosmopolitan city of Brisbane is just north of the campus.

Attractions such as the Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country provide students with an action-packed taste of Australia’s history, while a trip to South Stradbroke Island enables students to engage in whale watching at the Australian Whale Sanctuary.

The Gold Coast offers a unique mix of natural beauty, urban landscapes and thrilling attractions, providing students the best Australia has to offer.
