Hands-on 2-Day Editing Fundamentals in DaVinci Resolve

NYFA Australia’s short-term workshops are delivered in-person at our purpose-built campus on the Gold Coast. Perfectly designed for working professionals, full-time or part-time students, and can even be an after school learning option.

Students are immersed in hands-on programs in the visual and performing arts designed to teach them creative and technical skills in their chosen field. Workshops are designed to be adapted for a variety of people, with either little or no experience, as well as trained professionals who wish to deepen their craft, or refresh on techniques, or even just to create a new showreel for their professional portfolio!

2-Day Editing Fundamentals in DaVinci Resolve

This is an introductory editing workshop for beginner students to gain skills in an industry standard editing software, DaVinci Resolve.

Whether you're interested in learning editing for film and television, social media content, Youtube or other applications, this short course has been designed as a great entry point to editing fundamentals.

What you’ll learn in this workshop:

• Learn how to import video footage, use basic editing techniques and add audio, effects, transitions and text
• Export to a number of formats, understanding codecs, resolution and file-sizing for a range of screening applications
• Gain essential skills in the application of DaVinci Resolve software

Workshop Details:

Location: NYFA Australia Southport Campus, Gold Coast

Program Duration:

• 1 evening per week, for 2 consecutive weeks
• 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm (AEST)

Tuition Fees: $380 (AUD)

A non-refundable application fee of $50 (AUD) and the above tuition fee will be required upon application.
