Since studying Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy Australia, Julian Lawrence has worked on a multitude of feature films shot both in Australia and internationally, including Aquaman, Pacific Rim: Uprising, Thor: Ragnarock, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Alien: Covenant and Hacksaw Ridge.

Lawrence, having previously worked on the Kong: Skull Island also worked as a digital imaging technician on the highly-anticipated Godzilla vs. Kong. The big-budget blockbuster was released in March 2021, and released on HBO Max and theaters simultaneously. The film was nominated for a 2021 People’s Choice Award for ‘Action Movie of 2021.’
