Exclusive Los Angeles Film Study Abroad Tour

Eligible students who successfully complete an Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media have the option to join a special three-week New York Film Academy study tour at our Los Angeles campus, located in the midst of Hollywood’s great film studios — Universal and Warner Bros.

Our Australian students have the opportunity to train with our esteemed U.S. industry faculty and experience hands-on production workshops on the prestigious Universal Studios backlot.

During weekends, students can cruise the Sunset Strip and check out the giant billboards for the summer's blockbusters. Stroll down the Hollywood Walk of Fame and see the stars of the film and television universe, from Jennifer Lawrence to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to Meryl Streep, planted in the sidewalk. Stand in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre, one of the oldest in Hollywood, and check out the footprints of Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and Hollywood legends Cary Grant and Elizabeth Taylor. Visit the Dolby Theater, where the stars and the red carpet come out once a year for the Oscars. Everywhere you go, the world-famous Hollywood sign seems to follow you, shining down dreams that you, too, can be a part of the exciting world of film and television one day.

The Los Angeles Study Tour is planned and supervised by NYFA faculty and staff. Please note, participants pay for the costs of their transportation, accommodation, and food. The trip is scheduled during completion of the Advanced Diploma Program. The Los Angeles Study Tour is offered as an optional experience. Students are not required to participate.
