Hands-on 3-Day Voice Over Fundamentals

NYFA Australia’s short-term workshops are delivered in-person at our purpose-built campus on the Gold Coast. Perfectly designed for working professionals, full-time or part-time students, and can even be an after school learning option.

Students are immersed in hands-on programs in the visual and performing arts designed to teach them creative and technical skills in their chosen field. Workshops are designed to be adapted for a variety of people, with either little or no experience, as well as trained professionals who wish to deepen their craft, or refresh on techniques, or even just to create a new showreel for their professional portfolio!

3-Day Voice Over Fundamentals

Develop your skills as a Voice Over Artist. Work with an industry professional to find your unique voice within this expansive artistry.

Voice Over (VO) professionals can work across numerous media types, including animated films, dubbed series, audiobooks, television and radio commercials, documentaries, educational videos, corporate promotional materials, apps and more.

Be guided through practical exercises that are designed to give you the techniques needed to maximise your voice opportunities, and find the right direction to start in the VO industry.

What you’ll learn in this workshop:

• Professional Voice Over Recording to incorporate into your own Voice Over Reel
• Working in an ADR Booth, learn to use the correct vocal and microphone techniques, working to and marking up a script
• Get an overview of industry requirements for voice over artists and how to accept and incorporate direction from a studio & sound producer

Location: NYFA Australia Southport Campus, Gold Coast

Program Duration:

• 1 evening per week, for 3 consecutive weeks
• 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm (AEST)

Tuition Fees: $570 (AUD)

A non-refundable application fee of $50 (AUD) and the above tuition fee will be required upon application.
